I wanted to see what "uncommon" things everyone keeps in their Raptor on a daily basis. I have some more room in my small storage container and looking for ideas.

I keep a tactical folding knife, small toolkit, tow strap, ratchet tie-down straps, flashlight, blanket, umbrella, ice scraper and gloves.

Lot of the same things, but in addition:

  • Glock, ammo, spare mag
  • Folding Shovel
  • Snatch Block
  • Air Hose
  • First Aid Kit
  • Multi-Tool
  • Jumper Cables
  • Zip Ties

I bought the biggest size actionpacker for a trip I took a while back, then I realized I liked it so much now I leave it strapped in the bed 75% of the time. No it won't stand up to any off-roading without some more support, but it's great because it fits below the tonneau and I can keep a few things in there that will stay dry. Normally it has recovery straps, shackles, tool bag, jumper cables, tied downs bungies etc, first aid kit, and very small survival bag. For around town I prefer it over something like a bolted down toolbox or chase rack because if I do need to haul something big I can get it out in about 10 seconds and throw it in the crew cab.
