Thanks for all the well wishes from everybody! Already called in to work for next 3 days! I am already up early to get started on it. Window tint set for 8 maybe mid perch today and Line-x in bed and wheel wheels tomorrow.

Only 1 bad thing so far. I waited till I got home to take all the shipping stickers off and go through all of the plant paperwork that was left in the glovebox and such. ( dealer did an awesome job about not touching anything and leaving everything just the way it was unloaded)

There was a sticker cover a portion of the painted front bumper assy below headlight, I didn't think much of it until I found a piece of paperwork that said Reject at top of it. That sticker was covering a small flaw in that area. So the plant quality control caught the flaw and the paperwork clearly showed it was in open status but never fixed! Kinda crazy not sure what I am going to do. It is very small and I don't want them sanding on or trying to fix. It clearing states it was supposed to be replaced. I am thinking maybe I can talk them into covering cost of a clear bra for that area or something.

This is why you should have let the dealer do the final inspection and prep. I'm surprised your dealer let you take delivery of it this way. You will just have to take it back, they should fix it under warranty.

Hey Blood,
My truck 1FTFW1R65DFD52967 is being built today...I was wondering how long it takes before they get a fairly firm ETA to the dealer? You told me it'd be during the last few days of Sept or the first few of Oct, but I guess that'll get narrowed down some soon? I'm the one making plans to fly to Tenn (where the dealer is) from Alaska, so I'm still trying to get everything planned...
Thanks for everything,
Sonny

Congrats, Mr. Z! Glad you are liking it and took some time off. I would definitely have whatever it is fixed under the warranty. Bring in the REJECT paperwork and just tell them you want it fixed. The outlay is too great to barter for something else. You will always see it if you don't get it taken care of, believe me. No one else will, but it will bother you. Enjoy the beast!

Pics man! Pics! You know the rule!

Now, just have to wait on the Major's to reach its final destination! Good luck, Major! Thinking of you and all my brothers and sisters on this 9/11. Stay safe and best of luck.
