I'd give anything to have a build date, even if it was pushed back a week. At least you know it's scheduled and have a rough estimate. Without my build date I'm basically sitting here "hoping" my dealer has good allocations and that I don't have to wait until July for my truck :(

I agree....my lease is up in May and I'm hoping I have it by then....but ultimatley it's up to allocation. Why won't Ford just make more?

Is it a good thing that my dealer told me today that my Raptor will be built before the delears? I'm not sure what that exactly means but I hope it is a good thing. He said I'm a priority 10.

They are making more >> the 2013 runs started 3 months earlier when compared to previous years.

That's great but I don't mean more than last year I mean enough more to accomodate the demand......of course that would open up the whole supply/demand debate and the bottom line of making more money and keeping the prices higher. I just think that given the recent state of the economy more sales would be a win-win for the country......

There are plenty of Raptors sitting on dealer lots. My local dealer has 5 right now. They can't sell them as they want 3k over MSRP. You are a special case (we are) in that we are sitting around waiting our orders to be made.

Thank blood! Sounds like my truck is only an hour away.

Does anyone know what the process is for final transport from the rail yard to the dealer? Is this something the dealer has good info on, as far as trucking delivery dates, etc?

There's definitely some variables there. I believe the Raptor has to be on the back of the carrier and obviously they have to wait for a full load heading your way or at least enough to make it worth their while. My dealer did say that they can make an order "hot" when it gets to the rail yard to speed up that last leg of the journey. The dealer can tell you where it is (whether they will or not will depend on how good your dealer is) and so can blood. There is obviously an ETA but we've seen enough long waits at the rail yard to not get too excited until it arrives at the dealer. If all goes well, maybe it's a short few days. If all goes wrong, several weeks or longer in some cases.

Well, I've been sittin' back trying to be patient. Ordered 1-16-13, and was told that my order was pulled around Feb. 20, but now the dealer says he doesn't have any other info for me. I have an order # 0116 and the dealer #52573, so I'll call SVT and see if they'll give me something. Maybe its going faster than some of the others, but if not ..... I guess I'll keep waitin'. Man a guy can sure learn a lot on this forum. I read for hours some days. Being retired is F-ing the greatest thing in the world. Except for the waiting. Miller Time!!

What priority are you?

Why don't you try and find out from the dealer how many orders are ahead of you and what their Raptor allotment is like. Not sure if your dealer will even talk about that kind of stuff but mine was/is very open but it's not a mega-dealer.

Well maybe that means there is nobody ahead of you and the next Raptor allotment will be yours. Did they say something like no one is ahead of you and the next Raptor being pulled will be yours?
