Congrats to all of you. I'm more than jealous.

I do have a question for anyone that may be able to answer. I originally placed my order on Sept 8th. I updated the color two weeks later and then added the front camera shortly after that. I know, but couldn't make the decision at first. My question is, would any or all of the changes changed my order number. SVT line says the order number I gave then, from the 8th, has not been updated since 9/12. That doesnt sound right to me.

Your original order doesn't actually get "updated" until there is forward progress on Ford's end. Until your order gets pulled and assigned a build date you can make any changes you want.

Thanks Birdman. That's what I thought. Was hoping the "lack of progress" was due to my changes and tracking an old number.

By the way, I went from White to Silver. I liked the white to start but have had bad luck with white. Superstition got the better of me. I too have some thoughts on a uniquely personal look. I am however a bit constrained on investment dollars after I get her.

Why Silver? It was choice two, my wife's first (happy momma and all) and, despite what I'd like, she will have to sit outside. The garage is 2" too short. Silver will hold up better to always being outside and with Colorado winters, wont constantly look dirty. Then again, maybe that's one reason to get the white.

geez, yur almost as paranoid as i am. and i plan to do the same thing. nobodies driving my truck but me

Many people will have drove your truck before you've ever seen it. I've been tracking my truck since the day it was built throughout the SVT hotline, and then through posts on here with the rail cities it has went through.

best case scenario: 2-3 guys at the factory, 1-2 guys at the rail shipping yard, 1-2 guys at 1st intermediate rail point, 1-2 guys at the 2nd int. point, 1-2 guys at the rail head. 1-2 guys at the shipping depot where the truck will pick it up, and then that guy drives it several times depending on how many times he has to unload it to get vehicles off the truck, finally at the dealer when they drop it off and some pimple face kid drives it around back to park it. Add more intermediate rail points the farther west you go past Kansas City, and the people who touch/drive your truck adds up............

Add it all up and your raptor was a driver ***** long before you ever saw it in person.

By the way.........the people on the SVT hotline have been stellar! They are super helpful, and since I refuse to bother Blood with my stupid daily questions I call the ones that are paid to answer them.

There really isn't any excuse to not use the hotline and just ask Blood instead.

I don't care how many people drive my truck as long as it is on/off trailers and to parking spots. I just do not want sales people, or other customers running my truck around to see how they run.
My last Raptor had 110 miles on it by the time I got it, (brand new) versus my GT500 before that having almost 3. It had so few miles the tune had the supercharger building no boost yet.

I want special order fresh raptor, not day old raptor that has been sitting around the lot for weeks having everyone touch it... :)

I gave the dealer instruction not to remove and packing, not to inspect it or do any prep work. tell I'm present. also i want a pic of the dash(mileage) the minute its off the truck and it better match when i get there.

I did the same thing! I told them not to wash my baby, yes inspect it and all that but no washy!

When I got to the dealer it was dirty as shit, stickers on it! I was like yes!!! Lol about to go wash my baby now!!! See ya!

thats what i meant. and ill be very specific about it with them. if its washed and cleaned out and the plastic seat covers are off i wont be very happy. i may even have them do a perch adjustment if the price is right but not until ive driven it off the lot. i dont even want em driving it from the back lot to the service bay
