The orders are mostly pulled by an agorythem. It has more to do with you options. example lets you hav a truck with nav and the other guy doesnt. the computer see the invetory is low on a part need for nav and the next shippment with not show up for a week. the system will pull less nav truck and more non nav to make sure they have every part to build the truck.

I guess Ford needs a better MRP/ERP system to have parts ready in a timeframe based on BOM's that are on firm order, and there goes the just in time MFG supply chain. Should be first in first out...

you forgot about the icu in the gpu with the mri and the hdd that uses the cpu from the ibm.......

well when it does get here, i got a few people interested in a pismo meet sometime early next year. perfect for breaking in your new truck, and mine as well

Its not really fords fault. its could be a vendor issue like a few years ago. one of the chips in the ford nav system was produced in a plant whipped out by the japan tsunami. so for could not build any trucks with nav. there are 100's of suppliers and sub supplies. If they did it any other way they would have to shut the line down every time there was a supply issue.

it figures

i knew my battery was gonna go soon. truck is 4+ years old and those crap factory 48 monthers last about that long. lately it seemed like it was struggling to turn the engine over. went to wallyworld to scope out some cheap batteries just in case. when i went back out to my ranger it cranked a couple times and bit the dust. waited 90 minutes for a 10 minute battery swap. and it was literally 10 minutes after the hood went up they backed it outa the bay. i understand customers ahead of me but come on. shoulda just had em jump me, took it home, and put it in myself. but then i gotta pay someone to dispose of the old one. im a green kinda guy. thats why im buying an environmentally friendly truck. $80 for the cheapest one they had that would turn the engine over. more money outa my pocket for a truck i technically dont even own. i saved the receipt. maybe the stealership will partially reimburse me when i pick up my raptor. yeah right

i know, i know, i know, i can call svt.
ive already called them twice in this process.
somehow, psychologically, i feel it would be easier on me to read bad news than have to hear a human voice give it to me over the phone. and my therapist agreed with me and wrote me another script.
and i emailed my dealer and of course no reply.
