I never said anything about my dealer forcing me to buy it. Dealer was cool and ordered me a 2013. Please read my post. I was asking a question about checking stock at Ford.com

you dont have to buy it. if you dont take delivery, they can not force you to buy it.

sell the truck instead, then go to the dealer who gave you invoice pricing.

since it will be a 5-6 month wait for the truck to arrive you have plenty of time to sell the ranger to someone. dont get screwed by the dealer

already got it posted to craigslist twice (dont rat me out) , and rangerstation forums. dont have an ebay account. ebay kinda scares me. a friend of mine has bought and sold there, maybe ill have him put it up for me. offer him a $50 finders fee. not sure why im not getting more action. maybe its the wait time til its available. the duratracs make any truck look sick. wonder if ford considered putting them on the raptor. maybe they werent even being made in 2010, i know they havent been around long. the bfg at's are kinda the industry standard, but duratrac might be passing them.

To answer your question, NO an O/T 1 "Retail Sold" Vehicle, will not
show in dealer stock, via Ford.com

Why would Ford want a "Sold" vehicle showing all over the web, for people
to see and call the dealer on??

Thank you Randy. I came to that conclusion also but I was not 100% positive.

So then there's no way to check unless the dealer provides my VIN.

Pretty much that's it. You would need the 2012 Vin.

But if they have a "Dealer" Web Site, then they can list it on there
if they choose to

They won't have it long, if they don't add a $$ Mark up.

how i read it, it sounded like they were making you purchase the 12. and you were trying to resell it. but i understand now. you have someone interested in buying the 12 that was originally allotted for you, rather than the dealer selling to someone else
