I changed my post to Nevermind since the thread was moved to a group buy from way back when.

Well God help me but I think I may just pull the trigger on these. I found a local dealer who also installs these. He has put at least thirty sets on but unfortunately no Raptors. I would be the first. I hate that but this would solve many issues. He tells me they are super heavy duty and lots of rock guys have installed them and are very pleased with them. Can run up to a 47 inch tire with these monsters.

I had 2 sets of these. both sets leaked grease. one set even pulled the inside boot clamp. which was a zip tie loose. also broke one outer orange boot. supposedly they make a few generations of these. in all fairness I am on top perch. which rcv said would not be a problem at all. well 2 sets later I am done with them. stock axles work fine.

Damn.......that just slowed my little boat down. So they do not give you 40% more articulation as they say? That was my real interest. Keep reading about our cv' s failing all the time on top perch. Thanks for the heads up.

And rcv kept telling me top perch would not affect it. but at full droop the band
clamp that in on the orange boot will hit the lower control arm. they said to cut the band clamp off. well that did no good also. several people have tried these axles to pretty much the same conclusion.
