please...stop reading forums and go buy your dam truck.

I have had my truck (2018) 10 months and 16,*** miles. have not set foot on the dealer lot since the day i bought it. This is my 5th ford with the 3.5 ecoboost motor covering 350,*** miles. Not a single issue with that motor.

Keep in mind, a forum like this is only 1-2% of the total people who bought F-150s. people join forums because they are enthusiast like most of us, or if the have problems, like some. i would say 90% of the people on this forum have had zero problems. the other 10% represent like .5% of all trucks bought.

Point is....forums are not representative of actual owners.

Go buy the truck. it is freaking awesome.

Then come back here, post a picture of it, and learn more about it from us.

Internet forums are like hospitals. In a hospital, you're going to see a lot more sick people then you would everywhere else. It doesn't usually reflect the norm. In a forum, you're going to see a lot more people reporting issues, but it doesn't usually reflect the norm.

I had a lot of issues with my 2017, but none with my 2019. My only grievance with both is that the transmission shifts strangely when cold, but once she warms up, all is well.

2012 owner with 76K miles. The truck is badass and looks and runs like new. Go buy your truck.

PS...on the way home stop at home despondent to buy a wheelbarrow to carry your balls around with. You’ll thank me later...

2012 Screw 700hp Whipple Supercharged with suspension, frame, wheel upgrades. After hard offroading in 7 years we FINALLY blew a motor at 98k last year. Replaced Engine for under $10k, rebuilt shocks, replaced tranny/transfer case and currently at 119k and is all like new and still going strong. (and looks good)

I'd say pretty bulletproof considering most won't do what we have done in this truck. My vote is buy one with confidence :)
