The GLRE Presents "Rise of the Phoenix"

Great Lakes Raptor Excursions is proud to announce an event in Eastern Ohio. The track has been specifically maintained and modified to take advantage of everything that the Ford Raptor has to offer. The track is just over 3 miles in length which offers participants to get comfortable with the track and the truck. The track offers numerous elevation changes and features.

Participants will get the chance to take as many laps as they are interested in and be able to watch other participants from great vantage points. There will be a night run which will provide one of the most spectacular experiences of any Raptor event whether it be while driving or watching from one of the many elevated spectator areas.

Rise of the Phoenix is located in Steubenville, OH which is located about an hour west of Pittsburgh, PA (A short distance away from the Pittsburgh International Airport)

6-8pm: Dinner
8-11pm: Night Run

Registration Costs:

• $250 for driver and 1 passenger
• $50 for each additional passenger

Rules
• 100% Sober driving

• Alcohol consumption will not be tolerated on trails or any time you are driving.

• Illegal drug use will not be tolerated. Same as alcohol consumption

• Do not tailgate

• No littering

• Know the limitations of your driving ability and your Raptor in the conditions.

• No whiners!

• Everyone in your vehicle must have a filled out waiver. NO Exceptions! You will not be allowed to participate without everyone having a completed waiver.

 


Required Items
1. Helmet- Snell 2000 or newer approved
2. 1 spare tire and tire repair kit
3. Tow strap at least 20’ and rated to pull the truck
4. Auxiliary Lighting- Must have to participate in the Night time Track activities.

Recommended additional items
1. You do not need a Co-pilot but it is recommended to help with communication traffic and navigating the trails/roads. Plus it’s more fun with someone in the truck with you.
2. Navigation : Lowrance, Garmin, Android tablet with an offroad map app.
3. VHF Radio programmed to MUR's frequencies
4. Floor jack or hi-lift jack
5. First Aid Kit
