There's nothing out of the ordinary here and I don't think I'll go much further than 3.0's unless I stop DDing this truck. With that said I wanted to start a build thread to keep track of my progress. I picked my 2013 Oxford White SCab up in late April after an order debacle from a less than honest first dealer. Found another dealer who was much more honest and even closer to home, they processed my order for 200 over invoice. My intent with this build is a nice clean/DIRTY truck that's fun to to beat up offroad but still civilized on road. please keep the brand/vendor wars out of this, I like all quality parts and have ordered from a number of vendors while still being budget savvy and cruising the classifieds.
This is the first day I brought it home.
My first mod, bought used from fellow member Huck.
Next Mod to SPT the forum.
Then I got a great deal on these from BlackMamba who already had a set and had won them on a raptor expedition
Next I got my TX plates in
Next I got some ICON UCA's from MTUH3 and a my tuner and BAK F1 from Kirk at RaptorAddict.
A couple weeks later I ordered my LCA skids, rear shocks, and bumpstop/frame brace again from kirk.
Finally got my front suspension pieces installed along with skids and some tie rods from RPG. Somehow I was able to totally **** one of the pins up, but big thanks to RPG for overnighting me some new ones (free of charge I might add).
Then it was time to install my raceline bumpers, Thanks to PatsRaptor for talking me through the cuts and helping me grow a pair, this was my first time cutting a body panel and I was more than a little nervous. Also installed the UMP intake, but dont have a picture of that.
And Finally installed a MBRP downturn with resonator.
Up next is a curved lightbar, either Rigid RDS or the VisionX offering, if either one of them will ever bring one to market. I still can't make up my mind about the wheels I want or rather I want to go with 37's.
