There was one article that said take the amount of snow you got last year, and multiply it by five. So that would put us over 1000 inches. Lol

Placed the order for my Lowrance touch 7 gen2 and also ordered a Wouxun KG-UV8D handheld Kit. Radio, Charger, Mic, Programming cable, car charger and better antenna for $150 shipped. Will see if its better the the UV-5r.

Need to make up my mind on the mount for the Lowrance, The LGE/CTS mount or a ram mount to the passenger seat (this would also allow holder for tablet, phone, radio etc).
The LGE/CTS mount is $99 on the site, trying to see if they will sell it for the $89 they have listed in the forum. If not will give the ram mount a try.

I have almost as many Ram Mounts as Amazon.com! Love them.

The one I pieced together holds my Lowrance HDS 5m Gen 2 just fine. I also have them for my phone, tablets, my HAM Radio control head, my video camera (Flip Video) and chainsaw!!!!


Never had an issue with any of them.

The Dead River Basin area is in relative close proximity to Dishno Road for all you Snoballers. I live in Harvey which is south Marquette.

Our first storm of the year was a big one!
