wait till OP sees the ****** up panel gaps, then puts his polarized glasses on and can see every paint spray made by the robot. He's gonna roll over to whatever "support" center Tesla has to have them laugh and say it's within spec. A friend has a model 3, I've seen the ******** first hand. Unless it's like broken off or not working "it's within spec"

If you had said Prius I'd think you are trolling, but a Model 3 makes sense to cross shop with a Raptor.

I get saying you want a TRX, but a girly Tesla 3 to do what? Fit in the Starbuck's drive thru? Besides the fact that they are junk fit and finish wise, who wants to give money to Elon Musky (oh wait we all have by subsidizing his company in the beginning).

Well post a pic of that 'green machine' when you get it in 6 months.

You will become great friends with your Tesla service advisor! I'd rather not take delivery of a Raptor than take delivery of a Tesla with their QA at the moment, good luck! Tesla has never overpromised or undelivered either

Granted OP was a little dramatic with their post (ordered my Gen3 6/17 and still waiting), but a lot of you are just being haters, were not in a cult....

So after waiting for almost 6 months and dealing with absolutely zero communication and constant phantom timeline shifts, I've had enough!

I've owned 7 Ford trucks/SUVs and always felt a bit like a fan boy, however, this experience is just totally unexceptable. I can continue to make excuses like COVID delays, global chip shortages, and the scale/scope of Ford's distribution model. However, the reality is, I put down a deposit in June and committed to paying $80k+ for a truck that Ford can't/won't deliver.

I've been as patient as I can be, but the hard reality is, I don't want to take delivery of a truck that is a model year old the day I drive it off the lot. I don't want to deal with a company that CHOOSES to keep it's customers in the dark on order status and impact of production delays. I also have serious concerns for a company that continues to embrace an outdated dealer centric order/distribution model that fails to do what it was designed to do, protect and put the customer first! Crazy ADMs, orders with no allocation, canceled orders with no explanation, and yet Ford refuses to take accountability or hold their dealers accountable.

I'm canceling my order and purchasing a Tesla, who at least seems to have figured out how to meet customer demand, continue driving innovation, and disrupt the broken legacy car purchasing model. For those interested, I placed an order today for a new Model 3 Performance with an estimated delivery date in 3-6 WEEKS.

I wish all of you the best, the Raptor is an amazing truck and I really wish this would have worked out. I've just lost all conference/trust in the company that produces it.
I can totally understand. i'm having a hard time justifying taking delivery of a 2021 this late in the year. Mine is stuck "in production" like a lot of the others on here. My buddy just took delivery of his 2022 super duty and i'm still waiting on a 2021 Raptor. the lost year has got to hurt resale/trade values down the road. The new Sierra Denali Ultimate is pretty tempting.

I just want to thank everyone that posted a reply on this thread. This is some seriously funny stuff.

And I cannot possibly conceive the move from a Raptor to a Tesla Jelly Bean - It's one fugly piece of junk, if you ask me. But I'm assuming the OP doesn't care about my opinion...

Instead of Tesla, look into Lucid, if you are going to go the route of buying a sedan ;)
