I like the one you got. I have actually altered the actual plate with vinyl to make it more black. My 1st choice is to run NO front license plate. This is the 1st front plate I have had on a vehicle in 20 years and I think I am going to take it off. Way out west Texas they don't seem to care, I have never been pulled over for it and even when I got pulled over for speeding, it was never mentioned. We have a lot of vehicles with New Mexico plates here in El Paso and NM does not have front plates. Plus I found this article on the web (when I was trying to see what the fine was) looks like they can't "fine" you but can still pull you over.

^DUDE! can you really do that??? thats awesome! my brother has his in the back of the front seat...just in case he can grab it and throw it in the windshield...even though thats not the front of the vehicle...technically not legal...

I would have one on the front of my truck...but with my custom bumper... """"i went off roading and my liciense plate got """"" ripped off"""" therefore its not on the front of my truck""" haha

20 years in Texas with no front plates on any of my cars, never been hassled on it, even after my 121 mph ticket on the tollway in Dallas

Well its an IDENTICAL copy and is even reflective. The real plate is not even embossed or doesn't have raised letters, iys smooth. So hey, its worked so far.

I have not had a front plate since my first new ride in 1978, a subaru BRAT. HAhaha. I have been stopped 3 times in my 37 years of driving for no front plate, all 3 by highway patrol. Just want a reason to pull you over. The last time on the way back from Colorado in the C6 Vett. Got a written warning that time. Soooooooooooo, I did the decal for the truck. If and when we get a new plate for the Vett I will do it as well. Gotta get a dark color to match. $28,00 for 2 stickers. Not bad!
