Havent updated this in a while. Truck now has factory series 3.0s. Went through Apollo optics and had a great experience with them. I definitely do business with them again.

Everyone knows these are a pricey upgrade but I cant stress enough how much better this setup is than the geiser springs... Made me fall back in love with the truck on road and got rid of the nasty harshness that the geisers created.

Last weekend I finally had a chance to get off road and did a Borrego to the border run... We originally planned this and the temps were supposed to be mid to high 90s. A nasty heat wave came in and I saw temps all the way up to 117 degrees. I was very impressed the truck was able to run hard even in temps like this. I was curious how the 3.0s would do in the dirt through some of the bigger hits and I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Soaked everything up nicely and there is no harsh rebound/pogo effect like the stock setup with the geisers. I would definitely recommend this upgrade to anyone who is on the fence.

Anyways.. here is a little photo dump from the run.

I called that company for the front bumper. IF they can give me a decent price for a front bumper w/ install, I'll drive up this weekend, since they are in NJ.

Very happy with the KHC bumper and dove tail BUT.... be prepared to wait for it. Think it took about 3.5-4 months for mine IIRC. Quality is solid though. The welds are a lot cleaner than my buddies ADD bumper.

@TerribleONE your truck looks great and glad to hear you found a big improvement with the factory 3.0s. I'm curious, what did you set ride height at and what settings on the compression have you been running, front and rear?

I set it a tad higher than how it came out of the box cant remember the exact measurements though. Definitely dropped it a tad from where the geisers had the truck sitting to get a little droop travel back.

I like soft on the street personally... Gives that nice factory ride but with a little less brake dive. Usually run stiff up front off road and medium in the rear.

As much as I love the factory series 3.0s I really want to get the truck baja ready and I like to drive hard so I opened this can of worms....

ADV glass front and rear looking like an ugly duckling for now until paint and I get some 37s on... then I'll not so patiently wait for my appointment at SVC early December for mid travel!!!
