Good luck with that. If you use your truck at all the mud and dirt are going to do a number on that. And it will fade, even if you have the UV protection

I wanted to do my flairs but my Line-X guy won't - said they can't do plastic. Oh well, I think yours looks great. Hope it holds up. I did my skid plates (top and bottom) instead and am glad I did. We have some real wicked stuff they put down on the roads here in Wisconsin during the winter. Pays to keep running through the car/underbody wash.

I like it a lot. Now black out your third tail light and do the mirror reflector delete. It will add to your killer look.

That does look great! I am interested in how it holds up being on the plastic. My son and I have been talking about doing the same things to the truck I am giving him when he get's his license in March.

your an awesome dad!!!!!!!!

i dont know bout that. ive had linex in 2 ranger beds for 8 years. the shit is pretty much indestructible. some fading but no defects with plenty of crap thrown around in there. beds vs bodies is different, but they laid it on thick underneath. and its premium, so the fade should be minimal over time. and no rust. im pleased with it

I meant more that it will never look as good as it does now, the mud and dirt will get in the texture and be a PITA to get clean again, kinda like how your side steps look. Maybe your not that concered with that though. You should do your bumpers and skid plate too to balance the look out though

Looks good, but yeah, the bumpers need to be done. Hope your credit card gets to feeling better soon.

I wonder if you could do a clear vinyl wrap on the parts you want line-x first and then have them sprayed? So down the line if you want to change things up you could just peel up the vinyl and the line-x goes with it?

dirt getting in the texture?? not really, especially with premium. i hear what you are saying about "fading" over time if you define a product not looking as good as it does new as "fading". nothing looks as good as it does when its new. that is why it would be defined as used at that point. i have a feeling these rockers and flares will look really good for a long time, especially if they are taken care of.
ive been debating spraying my rockers, and havent done it yet. i like the 2 tone look, i just think it might close the market on selling my truck down the road. the vinyl under the Line-X idea may prove to be more temporary than intended. its an outside the box idea, but i dont see it working to well.
