Is anyone running a tent set up on your gen3? I just traded in my Gen 2 for a Gen 3 last week and want to run a tent since I didn’t on my gen2. Curious whose got one and if you could post pics I’d appreciate it!

I don't know anything about tents, but the folding bedcover from my Gen 2 went straight on the Gen 3.

I can't provide you any info on tents but the mudflaps from a Gen 2 work on a Gen 3. :pp:

I had a Roam Adventure RTT on my 2020 and then swapped it over to my gen3. I have a retrax bed cover + yakima outpost HD rack system which allows the bed to be weatherproof and retracts to use the bed and the rack can be removed as well. My only negative with using a soft shell RTT is the height of the trucks/height of the rack. My 2020 was on 37's, eibachs and upgraded leafs which required me to stand on the bed rails to set up which was less ideal. I have sold my roam RTT and when I get back into overlanding (baby due in Nov) I will go hardshell or clam shell RTT. More expensive but ease of set up (few latches) and it pops up will be my preference. Here's a pic of the 2020 and 2022 with the same set up.

My comment was with regard to the bed connection/dimension being the same. Get it?
pretty much every tent setup is going to require some type of bed rack. you equating a folding bed cover to a tent is like saying, well my rims from my old truck should fit on this truck so any tire size/shape should work too. get it?

I'm not equating shit other than the bed dimensions and profile are the same for both Gen's. May be helpful to know, may not be. You gonna come at me with comparing 50 cal and whip antennas or something?
