Once your buying at this level, get what you want and be happy. Don’t regret it later. Now I’m taking to a guy who has a Ferrari lol

Been many years ago, but did some growing up in Suffolk county. I hear there’s a lot of Raptors running around on the island. Enjoy that beast.

Lots of Raptors here not many ever leave the highway, looking forward to my beach permit for next year!

You actually have to pay everything for the state you are registering in. So NY sales Tax at 8.625% and NY registration fees. There was a 500$ sales/use tax from Delaware and an administrative fee but with the trade no NY sales tax.
I would have bought it Local if I could have found one the way I wanted it.
I wasn't sure how it worked but I just looked at my paperwork for my Raptor that I bought at Autosaver Ford in NY and after the trade the difference was $20k and I was taxed NJ rate of 7% o that amount. The most unbelievable thing was that they did all of the registration, and all documentation fee`s for $75.00 Looking at the paperwork for my last Jeep it was $454 for clerical and another $64.00 for the registration wtf?

NY capped that fee at $75 saying it was unreasonable, Delaware charged my $399.

They are taking care of all the NY registration and transfer my plates over, so pretty happy with all of that.

That's good to know that NJ allows Dealers to rip you off. $399 is not bad considering you will get your plates and registration in the mail and not have to go to the DMV. I don`t know how the DMV is NY know but C-19 has made it such a pain in the ass but I guess they are concern about everyone's health. Where in LI are you located? I make a trip to the Long Island National Cemetery a few times a year. Family that lived out there in Lyndhurst and Farmingdale.
