Ok, ok, I knew I should’ve just waited for my wife, who is the brains, brawn, and mechanic in the family, to finish doing yoga before unpacking it and jumping to conclusions as my usual impetuous self is known to do.

after searching ford’s terrible parts website, and right before I called the dealer to raise hell about having to order another part, I realized they give you that part. Lol

might be nice if they didn’t say which can be purchased through your dealer.

Did I mention when pulling the Atv into enclosed trailer I hit and busted off the license plate light with the plow?

Lol, nice. Ya, you just have to swap out the pieces so the ramps have the lip to hook up to. Also, watch out to not over-tighten the screws on that access panel because it will just pull through those little screw holders that are on there. I think there actually might be specs for torquing them down as well.

So while those yellow support bars do give some modicum of safety, they are not supporting the load IMHO, and I'm no engineer, unless and until the cable were to give-way, as they are not tight in place.

Looks good. Ya, from taking a look at the instructions on the website and a video they had on there as well, it talks about the bars being loose and having the cable stretch out a bit in order for the bars to pick up the rest of the weight. I would also imagine, with the bars not being able to bend, that would help the tailgate from going up and down when going over bumps also.
