Tailgate cover?

ran across a recommendation here for an inexpensive rubber mat that fits the bed like a glove. Love it.

Now I must have a piece that covers that strip on the lower, inner portion of the tailgate that they didn’t spray with factory bed liner as my wife loves to drag stuff across it.

I trust you know the place of which I speak.

I await your always helpful suggestions. Ty.

i got my stuff from weather tech....it did the bed and the whole tailgate....

I got an OEM tailgate protector that usually comes with a drop in liner. It leaves the bottom couple inches of the tailgate exposed but it has about a 3/8" raised lip that makes it easy to slide stuff in and out of the bed. Ty both. It’s that exposed lip I’m trying to cover. Maybe it can’t be in order to close? I have the factory bed liner also.
