I had sound, but couldn't change the station, and no map on the GPS. Bluetooth worked as far as making calls, but couldn't recall the address book. So it was a partial shutdown which I tried to fix by turning the truck off to no avail.

got it. Mine seemed to be comatose. I didn’t try phone connectivity at all - since I had no sound or response from the head unit. Apparently it has to completely shut down, and all accessory power off, then power on. I’m not sure how long of a shut down was required since I let her sit overnight.
