Sync update V4.4

You don't have a trust worthy friend with PC savvy to log on to your account and try for you?

I do but I am pretty PC savvy myself. It's not an issue on my end but an issue with the website I believe.

Here's is what I'm doing: owner.ford.com> log in> sync & vehicle features> check for software updates> download SYNC update> System Error-This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or contact us.> OK> request update> We're preparing your update now. As soon as it's ready, we'll send you a link to return to this page and download your files.> OK> System Error-This service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later or contact us.

I never get the email with the link to download. Checked spam and even created a new Ford Owner account with exact same results.

I was getting something similar to that a while back, because I tried the 4.4 and couldn't confirm update because the truck wouldn't recognize the file.
The version checker cleared that when I did the 4.6 check
I then cleared all browser cache. And then it worked.

I'm on v4.4 now and I have that version confirmed back in Dec 2015. There's no way for me to run a version check since I don't have the update. There used to be a separate file you could download for the version checker but it's no longer on the Ford Owner website?

Also, supposedly running a vehicle health report will also check the version of sync. According to this https://owner.ford.com/how-tos/solu...ion-to-download-on-the-sync-updates-page.html. I have run multiple of those now. Not sure what else I can do

Have checked compatible mode lately?

I can send you the Version Checker if you'd like.

Well it's not allowing me to get the version check since I'm up to date.
I'm assuming the checker file is specific.
You may have to start over and go back to Gen1 v3.1
Unless the Sync team clears your acount and issues you a checker for the 4.4

That's alright, thank you though. Apparently I am not the only one with the issue. Check out post from Hunt4240dw and David Robert Iceman.

I think it may have to do with the version on the Sync website. My available update is for DR3T-14D544-AG, while MTF you have a different version showing. Has anybody been able to download the DR3T-14D544-AG?
