‘20s come with v3.4

You can upgrade older versions to 3.4 via a hack. But I’m still interested in knowing if and when Ford may officially release 3.4 to previous years vehicles. I think they should keep up in doing this in a timely fashion. As it shows commitment to there customers and how good there tech is, in being able to install the upgrade by an end user.
It's definitely an area where the major manufacturers are way behind. My wife drives a Tesla and the regular updates are like getting new features on a car purchased over a year ago.

Yes very true. The truck can do OTA updates for Sync, but there not really utilizing it yet. Getting updates on fordowner.com isn’t too bad when available.

When...................Might Sync 3.4 be released for the ‘19s or earlier models that can update to it? Any word on the street?

Only certain later model Sync 3 APIMs can be updated to 3.4; as we've seen, some owners have been upgrading their 19's. Not sure why Ford hasn't released it as an official update. Like many others, I received the Sync update notice via FordPass, only to run my VIN in OASIS and have it indicate that I'm already at the latest version (3.3)...

There’s always Russia collusion or the F150 forum download. Having automatic daylight saving time update is legit... just sayin’ ;-)

I am definitely considering it if Ford doesn't release 3.4 for our trucks soon...

I updated my ‘17 using the 3 usb stick method...no issues, no problems, just a long 30 minute wait for the upgrade.
