GEN 2 SYNC radio very slow to respond to touch

Agreed. Sounds like the APIM module. Happened to my 2017 after 2.5 years, fixed under warranty and good ever since.

I have updated to SYNC3 v3.0.20204 and it's still slow to respond randomly. Sometimes it is great, and then the slowness just creeps back again.

I was reading on the Ford Sync forums that some people have had the APIM replaced and it came back again. I'm going to live with this. $1k plus to "hopefully" fix the problem is not for me!
