What gives?! I'm totally ok with having to reconnect my iPhone with the SYNC system from time to time, as it usually only freaks out after I stream Pandora. But this latest episode has given my SYNC code window, a blank stare.

I'm not getting the 6 digit code, nor some alternate 4 digit code... what's the fix?

Also, it keeps telling me bluetooth is off (which it never is) and would I like to turn it on... I of course answer yes, but then nothing happens... nothing changes. Rinse and repeat... oi

Sounds like you need to reset your system. I figured out how to reset it a while back, but can't remember now. I'll try to dig that up for you

Pull the fuse. That will reset the system. Its in the passenger side fuse box. The manual should tell you which one.

OK, this is what the SYNC lady told me.

1. Press the Phone Button to enter the PHONE MENU.
2. Scroll repeatedly until SYSTEM SETTINGS appears in the radio display.
3. Press OK to enter the SYSTEM SETTINGS MENU.
4. Scroll repeatedly until ADVANCED appears in the radio display. Press OK.
5. Scroll repeatedly until MASTER RESET appears in the radio display.
6. Press OK. SYNC will ask you to confirm the reset.
7. Press OK to confirm.

Thanks for the responses, just a couple questions...

For the fuse pull, does the ignition need to be on, or do I just pull it, wait some period of time, then put it back in?

For the master reset, does this only reset the phone and/or Sync portion of the system?

Fuse pull, the ignition is off.

I have done the master reset process before and that worked in some cases depending on the symptoms but when my Sync got really FUBR, I pulled the fuse and everything has been working fine.
