Sync issues between phone and radio

Truck has Nav and Radio has latest updates done by dealer....worked perfect after update to radio. Repaired my phone at one point and that worked till I shut off the truck one day. I am not aware of any updates to my phone as I have auto update shut off....

I will try re-pairing or syncing my phone this afternoon to see if that fixes it....

Thanks Jaclyn. Not sure how I find out which version of sync I have. My phone now automatically pairs with sync but I have to manually connect it and I don't get text notifications. That may be it. The phone book wouldn't download for a while but I think I had fixed that, maybe. Thanks for any help you can offer.

No go...I think at this point it may be my phone as the text section has completely frozen on the phone....hope it wasn't caused by the truck radio because the phone stopped working properly after the attempt to re-pair it... :-/

Will advise once I get the phone working again and retry.

SYNC should not have any effect on your phone.

I recommend performing a master reset on your system, deleting SYNC from your phone, and creating a new pairing.

The only issue I have (iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 presently) is that whenever I plug it in (I Bluetooth & plug it into one of my USB ports to charge) it automatically plays music from my iTunes and Not my Spotify
