Sync and pandora

My sync stopped kind of recognizing my pandora. When I first got it I could just jump in and hit the pandora button on my truck and it would pull up all my pandora and stations and I could thumbs up and down. Now when I go to pandora it says buffering until I go into my phone and manually start pandora there. On top of that half of the the time the button isnt even there and the other half stays buffering until I restart pandora on my phone which in turn makes the pandora button disappear.Any ideas? Also I understand that there is a difference in the pandora button and the bluetooth phone button which requires you to start pandora on your own

Mine's doing the same thing. Got it to sync once but not anymore. Still trying to figure it out.

Have you updated Pandora app lately? I did and it started to happen. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Same on mine since the last Android update. It will work if I start it from my phone, but the on screen icon no longer appears.

Do not update your phone apps unless you are looking for a new feature and you know exactly what it is. Don't fix if it aint broken applies.

You need Android Auto installed on your phone, then just plug your phone in to one of the 2 USB ports and it'll automatically start running

I think I figured it out. Under pandora go to settings and mark the box that says auto launch pandora. Have not tried on my truck yet but I'm pretty sure that fixes it
