Sync 3 Update

How is everyone getting it without going through all of the multiple-version gyrations posted previously? I don't mind doing it, but it seemed like a very tedious process for minimal gains.

I got the message in FordPass, but I see nothing when I login...

I got the msg this eve too. Can’t check by phone and haven’t gone on a desktop/laptop yet to see if anything is there. I got the update msg maybe about 6-8 weeks ago and there was nothing.

I may contact Ford on this one. If no update, then why are you spamming owners?

FYI.....I checked on Fordowner.com and no update available for my truck. Crappy marketing and what is newly updated then the Alexa app?

I keep getting this message when moving the files over to the USB drive. 32g formatted to exFAT. Any ideas?

Yeah, tried all that stuff. I am now doing a "full" format on the usb drive. Just did a "quick" format before. Just noticed the little box checked.

I haven’t installed it yet. I’m still living off a dream, Ford will officially release it for us.

Is this version 3.4? My 2020 had 3.4 from Ford already, but I'm having a ton of CarPlay issues so hoping another update is on the way.

FWIW - I got the notification in FordPass. I went to the website and it said I had no downloads available. I opened a chat with Ford and they verified I had the latest version and apologized for the confusion. They claim the mass message was sent to "remind people to update to the latest version" if they haven't already. (This is what the forums are for)

What year truck and version are you on? I tried chatting earlier with them and chat wasn’t available.
