i havent removed it from the gen 3 but on the gen 2 once i upgraded the coil overs to icons and icon uca i removed the links full time, since it game me a much firmer ride over the super soft stock suspension it rode great on and off road, i did have more body roll on turns on the road but once you get used to that it was not an issue. i dont think running without it on stock suspension on road is a good idea for the gen 2's.
