I 100% agree with you. But I am more likely to accept something like that from a dealer that doesn't otherwise have an ADM. Yeah, I'll pay $500 for your stupid add on if you are otherwise selling at MSRP.
Well, was $200, but same point.

I guess I am trying to decide if there is some value to this thing. I am sure that Raptors get stolen more frequently than generic F-150s. If mine gets stolen, will the dealership help me track it down? Will the FordPass system do the same? Is it easy to disable the FordPass, but not the other tracker? I mean $200 is not a lot of money. May be worth it to have the security of knowing my truck can be recovered more easily.

Thanks for your input though. I got a Raptor for MSRP. I paid $200 for a tracker they threw in. Seems like the worst deal in the history of truck sales.

did the stealership school you in how to use the tracker? Or did they just take your money?

The dealer will do diddley for you if your ride gets stolen, except sell you another with their $200 device.
