The previous owner of mine went a slightly different route, he had the stock ones opened up and paint matched silver. I like it. Best pic I could find

That's cool - definitely works with silver... with PQ Race Red though it can quickly look like too much red.

Some colours work well with colour coordination - and as much as I love red - it's not one of them

As for OEM parts. When you buy the new housing then that is all you get. You have to buy everything else including an aftermarket harness to connect the HID lights to the regular plug. Heres a comparison of the two lights and what you might need. Or you can go the HID retrofit way.
