I came across a great deal on a 2022 Super Baja. I am considering trading in my 2020 Raptor for it. Has anyone driven one? Will it handle as well as a raptor in the dirt?

Basically, it will cost me about $20k to upgrade. The 2022 has 5k miles and a warranty.

I need more payload than my raptor has.

I’ve never owned a super dirt truck before so looking for any and all inputs.

Nah. It’s a super duty with a BDS lift. Won’t ride like a Raptor. Closest thing would be a Superduty with a Carli pintop/Dominator setup from what I’ve seen.

I thought it would be pretty comparable to the Carli suspension… that was my original plan until I realized that the super Baja was within my price range used

Id test drive it. Calling it just a BDS lift makes it sound like its a crappy drop bracket lift with a huge spacer on a twintube shock. It looks like a better setup than anything on the BDS website. Still won't ride like a Raptor, but Id test drive it.

Not even slightly close.

Thanks! Thats really good to know. I told him no because I would need to swap to Carli and he dropped it by $5k so I could afford to swap some components. Still might get it with the plans of updating the suspension immediately.
