Hi all,

I recently picked up an 800A in OW and am in love. I am curious about upgrading the headlights to the version that comes on the 801A, though.

Does anyone know if there would be any issue doing this? Are the adaptive headlights available as a part from Ford?

Appreciate the help.

What is your end goal? Brightness is only moderately better with the 801a, and you would be better off just getting better aftermarket fogs or Aux lights.

There’s a few posts on the F-150 forums attempting the led reflector to projector swap and it looks like more trouble and $ than worth.

If it’s looks that’s the issue there are aftermarket assemblies hitting the market with a similar look that will be better cost effective.

You can buy a harness to do the swap. Makes it a pretty straight forward process.
