Swapping 18 led tails

I did it on mine. I think it looks a lot cleaner and the the running light are way brighter/more visible.

Non-Raptor 2018+ F150 LED taillights are not the same as 2017+ Raptor taillights.

Always thought the LEDs on 15-17 F150s and 17+ Raptors had really poor visibility from the rear. Tons of exposed lamp from the sides, and practically nothing from the rear. The newer style are more visible from the rear.

Just got a set from this seller. I’ll be home this weekend to do the swap. I came from a 2018 Lariat and preferred those tails.

Have you looked at the Recon tail lights? I recent swapped mine out to the smoked Recon's since my OEM tails developed a leak and shorted out my blind spot module. New OEM light (single) plus module were $1500, I ended up paying $700 for the set of Recons and module.

I've never been a fan of Recon lights. I feel like they are overpriced for what they are. $700 is not bad though. I did however find an Ebay seller selling the OEM 18+ F150 lights for 500 shipped.

Same here. Previous versions I have seen were too much like a ricer. The ones my guy got for me go well. They are the smoked version and look clean.
