When it breaks in it gets louder at least that's what mine did.
Didn't I warn you about the drone.lol
mine is bad but its not like I had it before, it has a different note that doesn't bother me as much as before. I use to get headaches from being in the truck too long.
Cant wait to hear it in person.

Hey Jordan we were glad to help out with your setup and it was a pleasure to meet you in person. You def had one of the coolest Raptor's we have seen at the shop, but we agree, you need more lights!!! Thanks again, lets get the Raptor run going here in Ohio!!!

Roger you did!! I didn't expect the drone to be as loud as it is with the two mufflers

Right now I have it just dump right after the muffler... I thought I read some where that even if I run it over the axle it won't help at all? Is this true?

I don't want to replace mufflers if I don't have to so having the exhaust exit move is more what I'm thinking... Any ideas? on what could help

I had a custom side-exit made with a Magnaflow muffler. The drone under load was pretty bad. I then moved the muffler to the stock location and dumped it just after the axle, next to the spare. HUGE difference. Side-exit is cool, but that's about it. I made a thread about my experience, but this basically sums it up.

That's what I am thinking of doing. Go over the axle and aim the exit toward the stock exit. I will check out your thread.

Yep it has to get out from under neath the truck then you'll just have loud

I dumped mine just after the axle and it's loud as shit. Come spring time I'm going to try and extend it out the side in the stock location to see if it helps.
I put the sound deadening stuff under the whole back floor and back wall and it help a very tinny bit.
When I tow my travel trailer my dash even rattles/ vibrates with the load it's under and drives my wife insane. lol
Gonna try it out the back and if that doesn't work I'm going to try and design some kind of silencer for tips. We'll see.

Yeah running a full length tailpipe will help alot I'm sure, also what type of muffler plays a huge role in overall sound. Sometimes that pure race muffler is not the best for controlling drone.

what is drone? its a annoying hum right? I only ask becose I think a lot of people confuse that with loud. I know pwjstruebig is not confusing loud. as you know I have the s-type SW mufflers I have IMO loud. However at first the tips where just under the back of the truck and I had that dreaded drone. All I had to do was move my tips out a half inch and the drone was gone. so my question is is the SW s-type mufflers considered a race muffler? And if so the only why I see to eliminating drone is getting the tips out from under the truck.

I mean a half inch really they looked like they where out plenty but really all I moved them was probably not even a half inch. It's that touchy!
