I've thought about the semi reflective tape but have a blue screw so would the red or silver part look better wonder if there is blue reflective tape out their.

Right on, thanks Kanakry, I appreciate you looking into it. Who knows, maybe I'll end up going a copper route with my potential plan. I've got an idea in mind I know I would like and I have a feeling at least 1 or 2 others would dig too. We'll see if/what happens.

...But no matter what happens, the bottom line is I still need to bring SOOO much animosity Ironman's way!! :)

I don't know where I posted it, but I put copper in my first truck a year ago. I also have it in the new one (see avatar) and Love the look.

The first one coated the copper in silicone to prevent the patination proces (turning green). It looked pretty good as I stuck the two together and pulled them apart while wet to give a 'textured' look. But over time, the silicone collected dirt and was hard to clean.

On the new truck I coated them with liquid polyurethane and its much nicer.
