People are very curious and complimentary about my truck and I've had a TON of people come and ask me about the cut-out for the exhaust and "Let me hear that thing!"

last week at the gas station while filling up my car and the $ hits the 90 mark and keeps going....
napoleon syndrome dude in Kia..."bet you feel pretty stupid now don't ya?"

me....."not nearly as stupid as you'd feel if you compared your paycheck to mine."

him after several seconds of trying to think of something clever to say......"those trucks aren't as tuff as you people make them out to be"

me....."it's a lot tougher than your moving speed bump"

that shut him up.

I'm just wondering how stupid someone feels when they brake-check some bastard with no insurance and he rear ends your $50K Raptor with his 1975 Chevette.

Or are you thinking, "boy, I sure taught him a lesson"?:slap:

That's freaking awesome, if you just thought of it on the spot!

LOL!

Im thinking of adding a "special weapons" mod for one of my aux switches...thinking maybe a box of screws that drop out the back

I dont usually get too many people messing with me, but I added lights and sirens on my truck, so when someone does decide to **** with me, I pull them over and then just shake my finger at them as if Im letting them slide.

Dodge trucks are the only ones that wanna dance, but lets face it...they are usually one bump away from their next break down, Id be pissed all the time too if I owned one.

2 things.

1
Don't use screws you could mess up some innocent guys car. Use deer corn. If it hits directly at high speed it can chew up a paint job. But once it's stopped moving and on the ground its pretty well harmless.

2
They spent that much money on a POS. Don't expect them to be smart do ya???

I've only had complements and people who are interested in the truck. Every once in a while I'll get cut off by one of those jerk offs in a dodge or chevy with the "truck nutz" on the trailer hitch. If they happen to do it at night thats what the baja lights are for

The only other negative comment I have ever recieved.

"why would you buy a desert racing truck, when you live in Missouri?"

After explaining and showing him why the Raptor is one of the best offroad vehicles made. He half heartly agreed and jumped into chevy silverado and drove off with his truck nuts dragging behind him...

Our trucks bring out passionate responses from truck guys/wannabes. My wife didn't believe me at first until the first time she was in the truck and a family in a parking lot kept staring at us with their kids laughing. The guy in the Beemer pulls up next to me, says he likes it, etc and wants to know more. I've been flipped off once by some old beater that came up from out of nowhere and as he passed in the open lane next to me gave me that ol' one finger salute. Usually, it' guys that look to be in their 20's or 30's that pump fist, shake head in approval and such. I've found life too short to engage an Ahole going ballistic.

I'd give them a smart ass comment and they would get mad and quit talking to me, and all would be well again lol

Can you just imagine if it was a diesel and blew black smoke on top of it all :)

I get a lot of Toyota owners giving me the once over and the stink eye. It's like Ford pooped on there "offroadiness", but they will show me when they pick up their new Baja.
