How does this effect the air bag system.

If anything it might set them off sooner since the bumper is gone and is replaced with a much more ridged bumper... The give is gone and the system only needs 14mph to set them off. of course you need 2 of the sensors to trigger to charge the airbags...

It doesn't effect the air bag system and there isn't any required rewiring needed to protect the system. We have about 30 raptor bumpers on trucks right now and have had no problems.
