Quick question, would you be able to weld on or make space for a tow hook?

A friend of mine had his timing belt come off on the dunes and we had to tow him back to civilization. We realized he didn't have space for a tow hook (he was running rpg's raceline bumper) and we had to run the risk of towing him from the bumper.

I don't want to run in that scenario so I am hoping there is a way we could get a tow hook on the gen 1 smurf bumper
