Have any of you guys off-roaded with small children before? My son is 9 mo old and we can't find a baby sitter that day so I am wondering if he is too young to come along.

Damn Brendon, making me sound like a bad parent!

Both my daughters have been going to the desert since they were 3-4 months old. At that age they usually stay in the trailer with their mom unless we all go for a cruise together. If they are in the truck just be extra careful and be a responsible parent.

That's why we have these smooth prerunners, right? Here's a way to tell, if the wife's bobs are bouncing around too much...so is the baby's brains.

HAHAHA not at all my intention dude!

I just know the kids have come out with us once or twice and that you took extra special care to make sure they were safe because you're an AWESOME!!! Parent!

figured you could help with some words of wisdom.

I'd like to come as well but will probably only be able to stay for the first half and will need to bring my 6 yr old boy.

I've only done slower type trails in Gorman and am more of a rookie to this whole world. I've been building my truck so that I can join RE and don't even know how to use things like my
Lowrance and radio. Can anyone give me a brief lesson while there?

Thanks for putting this on SVC.

I think most would be willing, one thing: make sure your radio is programmed with the necessary channels. You'd be surprised at how many show up, never used a radio, and think it's like a cb.

I'm in the same boat. I've only done slower trails as well. Still building my truck up for Raptor Expiditions. I might have my radio installed by next weekend and any tips would be greatly appreciated. You can count me in for most the day.... I feel a cold coming on and don't think I'll be making it to work Saturday ;).

I will add you both to the list! The purpose of the day is to have a good time, run at your own pace, and meet some new faces.
