SVC 4 link vs Gen 3

Had a Gen 3 with its 5 link come out today.

Ran through a section of whoops about 1.5 feet deep.

50-55mph…. I wanted to hit it at 70-75 but the run up was too short for this section sadly and we ran out of time to explore more.

Notice the rear ends.

Gen 2 SVC 4 Link

Gen 3 5 link with Eibach springs.

Back end is definitely more hoppy on the Gen 3. Kicks like one of @Oldfart 's goats.

Bad ass rig really Impressive. But you have like 20k more suspension than he does lol. Doesn't he have a stock unit? A bet a stock gen 2 would have done a cartwheel.

I wish it was only 20k ha.

We did have a Gen 2 go through with e click and he did in fact almost cartwheel.

You did the right thing man I think the gen2 is much more suitable for modding than the gen3.

Your rig is my favorite on frf hands down.

Soooo, without being a dumb a$$, what causes that??

I am sure it is a combination of a couple things.

Lack of travel? Rebound or compression tuning?

Do you know if the Gen2 Eclick was on factory shocks or FRS??

Just trying to learn.

Also learning- curious if an R would perform worse with the added weight up front.

Are those non factory g3 eibachs the same stiffness? Id be curious if that effected anything.

so the bucking is caused by a few things. Weight in the back and spring rate.

I have a lot more travel and a ton of weight behind the rear axle housing (fuel cell).

This is allowing me to no only have more dig in but the ability to fill the holes with the travel.
