Suspension noise

Anyone with a Gen 3 experiencing any rattling noises coming from somewhere in the suspension? The dealership has my truck for a week. They said they also heard the noise but did not know exactly where it was coming from. It is irritating

Yes welcome to the club, there is a lengthy post under the suspension section. No true fix yet. I’m going to hold out until Ford addresses with a TSB before I let my dealer try to figure it out.

Bad news. after multiple trips to dealer and 7,000 miles, Ford engineering said the noise is just part of the new suspension and NOTHING can be done to fix it. They told my dealer to just buy my truck back at the List price i paid for it. Really sucks as i loved the truck. they gave me 10% off a King Ranch and wrote me a check for the difference. Ford has a massive problem with the new Gen 3's and the suspension. I personally think all the shocks are bad and they know they cant get any more.

If you stand on the back bumper and bounce up and down, you can hear the back shocks making the same popping sound. Ford literally told the dealer they would not supply any more parts for the suspension warranty issue. So the Dealer gave me all my money back. Crazy.

and the rattling muffler, they never fixed that either. Ford sent the wrong parts twice over 4 months and couldnt give a date of the correct parts.

They should be beyond embarrased.

So it’s “normal”, but they repurchased the vehicle? That makes no sense. How was Ford engineering involved?
