Is the suspension making "clunking" noise (not to be confused with the driveshaft clunk) normal? Slow speed, mild travel?

From what I have read in the Ford material, clunking or chirping noises from the Fox Shocks are normal.

Here is a quote from the 2012 Raptor Supplement (Owner's Manual), page 6:

"Note: Your F-150 SVT Raptor is equipped with unique front and rear
high-performance Fox shock absorbers designed for severe off-road use.
Due to the hydraulic motion of the shock fluid in the unique internal
bypass system, some noise during on-road driving including boom, chirp,
or clunk noises can be expected over small, sharp bumps such as frost
heaves, potholes, or expansion joints. This is a normal characteristic of
the shock absorbers and repairs should not be attempted."

I realize you don't have a 2012, but the shocks are the same.

yeah, over a speed bump mine make a pretty loud clunk. it's been discussed alot. make sure your spare tire is nice and tight too because many have found that the spare tire was actually bouncing around and causing a thud.
