107,000 miles, blown since day 1. Like almost everyone else, zero issues. Maintenance is the same as reg Raptor, so make sure that is kept up. Do yourself a favor and always run good gas. Mine has only ever run Shell 93.
The only pain in the ass thing that all supercharged Raptors need to do is switch the stock spark plug to the correct heat range plug. Roush knew they should have swapped, but elected to just run the factory plug anyway.

I’ll tell you that changing all 16 plugs is a bitch. Especially the top closest to the firewall under the SC inlet, the bottom bolt in the back is hard to get to. Other than that I’ve only had issues with tires. They get worn so fast, it must be the streets I live on, so slippery.

Sound like a sc 6.2 raptor is a good truck then..? I’ve been thinking about getting one..I’ve got a ECOBOOST GEN FX2 with only 25k miles, but I’ve dumped about 90k including the purchase price, and it’s on airbags so I can lower it to transfer from my wheelchair being a DVET…
I keep worrying about installing bigger turbos, and blowing it up, which would mean a built motor first to go north of 475rwhp..
how much power does a 6.2 handle rwhp with a blower…as I’m wanting 600rwhp as I’ve read the new raptor can handle that, although to me that seems like a short term build waiting to go bang,but 5star seems to think it’s safe,??

Hello Mark,

A factory 2013 Roush Stage II with 133k. It’s been a great truck. No nightmares. Only issue so far is needing to replace one of the three yellow LED’s in the grill. Also, with the JDM tune, I’m now averaging 15.2 mpg (mostly highway miles).
Also, more importantly, thank you for your service!

Picked up this beauty a few months ago with 24,000 on the clock. Serialized Roush with a ton of $$ spent on it. Added JLT oil seperater and a few little tweaks as well as a JDM tune which really woke it up and added about 3 MPG.20210411_160355.jpg

Very few problems here - Roush installed at 50K, sitting at 91K now. My only real supercharger problems were my stock exhaust. I blew two exhaust manifolds and one cat. I've since gone to full true dual Kooks exhaust. I've also upgraded the oil pump as a proactive measure, since this is a known weak point.
What do you mean blew the exhaust manifold? Did it break, blow a gasket? Just curious.

Only thing I've heard of is getting your oil pump changed out for one with forged internals and gears. Seems Ford went cheap on those parts but that's an issue for all 6.2 motors not just SC ones....
The only reported instances I have read about oil pump gear failure were with people standing hard on the throttle, creating major wheel hop, which shocks the drivetrain, creates crazy harmonics and shatters the oil pump gears. Not common, but it has happened to a few unlucky people.

I installed my Stage 2 Roush setup at 57k miles. I'm at 74k now.

Blew my 6.2 at 598whp. Gen 4 whipple stage 2 kit, long tubes, billet OPG's and ATI 12% OD pulley. Upon inspection, the pistons were beautiful, so it wasn't a fueling issue. The rods just let go and punched 3 holes in the block. I'm sure if one were to keep the standard whipple pulley setup, it would have been fine.

FYI the Entire motor and supercharger were trashed after this. Metal went through the rotors and destroyed the head unit. I would highly recommend building the bottom end If you're going to do some "extra" things on top of the standard kit.

This happened last October. Engine build, CNC head porting, and whipple have kept me from getting it all put back together.
