I've had Sun/moon roofs in all my trucks going back to 2005 and I use them frequently. Love having them open when driving at night. I've had 2 issues in that time. I had a drain hose become disconnected in my 2008 Silverado (Factory issue) and I had one stick shut in my 2017 F250 after not using all winter. Maybe lack of use plays a part in the issues.

The only reason that I like sunroofs.....I'm tall and it gives me more headroom. Typically, when you buy a high-end vehicle, a sunroof is included in one of the luxury packages. I've opened mine maybe three times in three years, mainly for the benefits of the grandkids riding in the truck. I do like the fact that I never really have to spend time waxing the roof. :D
As others stated. Sunroof eats up lots of head room.

I have 4 more inches in my Raptor without sliding roof.

So if I didn't have a moonroof I'd gain 4inches ??? Going to the body shop tomorrow and getting it deleted
Yes, sunroof glsss is flush with roof top, so all mechanisms with regard to sunroof are inside not outside. Those mechanisms take up about 3.5-4 inches.
