I’m currently in a losing battle against my sunroof, seeing if anyone has ideas. Just pulled it to replace the tracks, but now the sunroof just goes a little too far back, and not far enough forward for the rear of the glass to raise. Wouldn’t normally care if the sunroof worked if it wasn’t just leaking so much. Anyone got ideas? Motor somehow off a tooth? Didn’t remove the little coiled lines from the motor. Dropped the headliner twice and I just am losing.

If I remember correctly you need the roof sleds in the full forward position before installing the motor. This job was a pain in D ass, but doable with the good YouTube videos out there. My daughter and I did it in about 7 hours labeling everything and being careful.

I’m guessing that’s what I did wrong. I thought they were full forward but obviously not. I’ll pull the motor and reset it
