A radiator IS a heat exchanger. You've got one on the air conditioner for your house, under the refrigerator in your kitchen, it's the radiator for the cooling system in your truck as well as for the transmission and the AC.

LOL... Pebbles received my friend... Thanks

"Kung Fu" starring David Carradine ran from 1972 to 1975. Flashbacks were often used to recall specific lessons from Caine's (Carradine's character) childhood training in the monastery from his teachers, the blind Master Po (Keye Luke) and Master Kan (Philip Ahn). Part of the appeal of the series was undoubtedly the emphasis laid, via the flashbacks, on the mental and spiritual power that Caine had gained from his rigorous training. In these flashbacks, Master Po calls his young student "Grasshopper" in reference to a scene in the pilot episode:

Master Po: Close your eyes. What do you hear?
Young Caine: I hear the water, I hear the birds.
Po: Do you hear your own heartbeat?
Caine: No.
Po: Do you hear the grasshopper which is at your feet?
Caine: Old man, how is it that you hear these things?
Po: Young man, how is it that you do not?

In the lead-in of the weekly show, the Master would hold out his hand. It had pebbles in it. He would tell the young Caine that it would be time for him to leave the monastery when the boy could take the pebbles from his hand.

An old favorite. Sadly, all of the actors who played lead characters in the series are now deceased. David Carradine (who also was the title role character in the "Kill Bill" movies) died in 2009.

+1 on the thanks to Boss Hoss for this tip! Just did it and it worked like a charm.

I, uh, didn't read the whole thread though before trying. I ended up using the Windex to clean the back end of the truck and bed cover. Worked better than any car wash has yet. Now I know why :D

Thanks 'Hoss!

Okay there was two "windex" outdoor sprayer.. One multisurface and one window..

Just wanted to make sure which one you all are using. Even though both probably work the same.

simple green works well too. i've seen the proof when cleaning AC condensers and watching a clean condenser coil (basically the same thing as a radiator, in theory) bring the head pressure and temp down considerably.

Ok so do we just need to spray the heat exchangers in the front. Are there any more? The radiator is up there, what else is there?

You have many up there. The radiator, the condenser, power steering cooler, and tranny cooler. Other heat exchangers, you cannot access. The evaporator and the heater, although they do get dirty. They are located in the cab, at the fire wall.
