I'm thinking about buying a new 2020 Raptor and my research led me to this forum. I've gotten a lot of good info so far.

I have a question about price. The vehicle is exactly what I want but I'm sure not going to let the salesman know that before we have a deal. MSRP is $74,535 and they've advertised an "Internet Price" of $70,808. The Edmund's suggested price is about $1,200 above that.

I'd like to get them down to around $68, give or take. Is that reasonable? Should I push for lower or accept what they're offering? The Internet price doesn't seem that bad, but I don't want to pay any more than I have to.

I've read though the thread on how much did you pay and also the one on dealers selling for invoice. My take from those is still inconclusive.

Hi, welcome to FRF! I just bought one at invoice, very happy! I think that's a pretty good deal. What you should do is ask the salesman to should you the invoice price. Some dealers don't like to, but most will, especially if they want a sale. The price he is offering is probably it, or very close, couple of hundred dollars off. IMO, you're not going to get them down to $68K, as you will be eating into their profits.

What options does the truck have?

Thanks for the replies

Look a bit higher up on the forum listing page and there is a section for "Prospective Owners" that has a lot of good info in relation to pricing.

Here is the most recent thread on invoice pricing where a member made a handy excel sheet to use as a reference.

I'm not seeing the prospective owners thread. Can you provide a noob a link?

It is lead foot and has 802A, sunroof, CF, beadlock, tailgate step, spray in bedliner, maybe some other things I'm missing.

Problem is, prices vary across the country. The Internet price listed is a good deal in the several surrounding states (NW) where I live. They would not have come off the internet price and would simply have sold it to someone else. Most of the time, there’s someone out there who’s willing to pay a bit more so the risk is losing it. Just have to judge if you’re willing to lose it for a price which may only be available in Texas...
