Just wondering if anyone has been successful in changing out the factory bulbs for LED in the tail lights. I have changed the front signals to LED and wired in a 50ohm resistor and had no issues. How ever, if I put in the tail light ones a few things happen. With no additional resistors, they work, but I get hyper flashers. With additional resistors wired into the blinker circuit, 50 ohm to each. They will flash, at the proper speed, light up to full brightness when flashing or brake application. But they lose the running light aspect. Any ideas?

I tried 6ohm on mine when replacing the tail bulbs and still had hyper flash. I have Spyder brand LED tails now and get hyper flash, but only when I hit the brakes... Works fine other than that, still need to take the time and figure it out.

it should be a 6ohm 50watt resistor. one for each flashing light that gets replaced.

Yes your right, 50 watt 8 ohm is what I have installed.

That's weird. I have been running my spyders tails for over a year and they never hyperflashed...

Nick do you have resistors in your tails lights? And do you have LEDs in the front blinkers?
