People talk about how much money you put into the truck, then they hate you for it. Wtf I enjoy my truck and make it perfect to the best I can financially bare.

why do people who never go off road buy a Raptor?

Mine came from Illinois and I saved it from a miserable cesspool of a state where rust and other undesirable things run rampant. I bet Illinois does not have over 20 Raptors registered in their entire state. I however, see 5-10 everyday were I am. Glad to say I own a Blue Flame because I do not see any like it.

I'm the same way with certain vehicles I buy too but I plan to keep the Raptors in my stable for awhile. I'm bored with the M6 plus I bought it when I was trying to feel young and douched up the interior with carbon fiber and red leather. Lol.

I like it a lot.... But I am ******* haha. Seriously sick ride. I miss my modded cts-v coupe sometimes. But the raptor is the most fun to mod vehicle ever.

The only things wrong with Illinois are the roads, the government, and some of the dumbshits in Chicago. And there are a lot more Raptors here than you think. You must live in a pretty spectacular state if you see 5-10 every day. I drove over 2750 miles last week across 3 states and only saw that many total (other than the 8 others I was on a run with). And one of those 6 or so I did see was a total ******** definitely NOT from Illinois.......

I live in Arkansas, so yeah I love the state. I think there may be 10 -12 in my town alone. I work within the energy industry and I see 5-10 a week not to mention jacked up 50-60-70 grand GMCs and F250 Super duties. The truck industry in my state is out of control. I guess I can not talk too much chit about Illinois because the only raptors for the price I paid for it had 100 thousand plus miles around here. Looked at a SCREW red with the same mileage for 45 grand and it is still sitting at the dealership. You can tell it has been up North on salted roads from some hot spots underneath but over all it is a good truck. It was not sold till feb of 2012 so it really was only up there for 3 winters. If it was up there for 5 or more winters then I would say you could see rust bubbles on the paint. Also UV sun damage must be a real issue up there as I have had to restore the hood decal and pace edwards bed cover.

It was/ is a used truck but I replaced the spark plugs and noticed the gas mileage went up a mile or two. I had to replace the a/c fan resistor, the front corner bumper light went out as well which I attribute to being up in the cold then coming down to a very humid and dry arid environment. Little things but overall it is an awesome truck worth what I bought it for and can handle any type of duck, deer or water field I throw at her. One thing is for sure the fella that owned her never took her out to see what she could do. From the smell of the air vents sometimes he was a cattle man not an farm guy. I could not ask for a better example and I almost passed on it due to the mileage as I was wanting less than 45 thousand miles but picked it mainly due to the color and sunroof. Just ordered the certificate on it and it is one of 170ish or so made in Blue Flame that year.

So, all the ones I mainly see are black, a few reds. Oh look another black Raptor, they are like Civics around these parts.
