Stupid Question....should you wax the fender flares on a 2017-2019 Raptor

Great question. I just got my 19 a few days ago, and plan on using Adam’s products for a ceramic coat, but would like to know if I should use Adam’s ceramic paint coat, or Adam’s ceramic trim coat on the fender flairs?

the flares are a painted plastic. I don't see why you can't put adam's ceramic coating on it.

I waxed mine. It was just paste wax and liquid wax on top.

Painted plastic. Won't hurt it, it will help it. I do.

I've waxed mine several times to help remove (and hide) desert pinstriping.... You should have no problems on a Gen2 Raptor as well.

I know this is an old thread, but in an effort to not make another thread, I'll ask here.

I just bought a 2020 Gen 2. My factory flares had a few dark spots where Ford originally painted them unevenly. I used cleaner wax and buffed them out, but now I have a shiny spot on the flare. I tried Dawn dish soap to strip the wax but it didn't work, and the shiny spot is still there. Is my only option to wax the whole flare now? I've never owned a vehicle with matte paint finishes...any help is appreciated.

Try claying it, then wax the entire thing like you do the entire truck. After that I might try different grits of polish, starting with the least abrasive.

According to the grooves and scratches I have in mine from dumb stuff offroad, they are painted plastic.
